The neighbourhood belongs to the Plaza de la Revolución municipality. The famous Revolution Square is within walking distance of Villa Vedado and is also an excellent stop on a classic vintage car tour through Havana.
Vedado's clear grid-like street structure makes it easy to find your way around and explore the neighbourhood on foot. Along the streets you'll encounter magnificent villas and historic buildings from the past century. A stroll eventually leads to the Malecón, Havana's famous seafront promenade.
In the evening, Vedado reveals a very special side of itself. The neighbourhood is known for its excellent restaurants, international cuisine, jazz clubs and live music. Well-known Cuban salsa bands regularly perform at the concert venues. This makes Vedado an ideal starting point for discovering Havana by day and experiencing Cuban nightlife after sunset.
